What other developments can be expected in the future. We first expect all houses to get a high bandwidth internet connection that will replace tv and phone cables, and enables phoning, and tv over the internet. All the houses will also have a home computer to manage all bluetooth devices in it, and to act as gateway to the internet. Of course there is a network connection to all the rooms in the house, where computers that need higher bandwidth than bluetooth can provide can plug in.

Secondly we expect PDA's to become very popular with added functionality. For a start every PDA will have a bluetooth module, but at least some will also have a mobile phone capability, so they can be connected to internet everywhere. When they can make use of local internet through bluetooth they will use that, cheaper, capability, but else they will use their mobile phone capability.

Of course we expect the uprising of mobile phones as internet terminals, but, especially if it is possible to make foldable screens, they will merge with PDA's to become compact, but powerful devices, with computing, phoning, and videoconferencing capabilities.

Next we expect the upcomming of specialised devises that have internet capability. For example a VCR, that connects with the home computer using bluetooth, and has a web interface where the owner can remotely select the program for the VCR (or, more probably, DVD recorder) to record. Of course the VCR also uses the internet capability to get a list of programs that can be recorded.
